Questions?

Life is filled with questions. But several keep cropping up in my mind. Why is our Government allowing approximately 16 Million children and their families to live in automobiles and trucks? Why does our Government continuously send Billions of dollars to countries overseas, that do not have our best interest at heart, when unemployment is the highest it's ever been?
Why cannot the Democrats and Republicans not find common ground on the issues that affect this country the most; The aforementioned questions, as well as Immigration reform, the country's hunger problem, the eroding middle class, the right to keep and bear arms for the ordinary citizen and many more of a multitude of issues.
Why do politicians fail to heed the voices of their constituents? What will it take to reform the Government and the country?
Granted the issues are great and seemingly indomitable. But 50-60 years ago, this was the greatest country in the world. I think its time to take back America. To review and renew its moral principle and purposes. My father, his forebears and millions of others fought, bled and died that these United States of America, might enjoy enduring freedom and prosperity.
Thus my final question above all others, when will the citizens of this country, wake up?
