Life is filled with conflicts. Every human being has a war that they must win against the storms of life. Those who follow a seaman's trade know more than most; the trials that may come in time of storm. But do they change their chosen profession? No! Because over the years they have found that storms are just temporary, they come and they go.
Such are the trials of life; they come and they go. Like the winds that howl through the mast head, that unfurl the sheets of the sails, that toss a giant ship like as top in a tub; the storms eventually abate. The sun shines again. The winds and waves subside and there comes a great calm.
Whatever we face in life today, tomorrow, a week or a year from now, we all must realize as one writer said: "Time and chance happen to all..." Good times, bad times, happy times, sad times, all flow through the lives of men. They only linger for a season, then the seasons change and time marches on.
So whatever your season, whatever your state, be happy and thankful, wherever you are.

So true, so true RLM, I remember a wise man told a story a long time ago about some sailors in a boat when a storm came along, they were very afraid. The captain was asleep in his quarters, this captain was special though because he had the power to awake in response to their cries and calm the storm. Three things these sailors forgot and that is why they were so afraid. They were professional sailors, they were only going to the other side of the lake and God (their captain) was in the boat with them. The same is very true for us today. Really loved the video of the ship in the storm RLM.
