The night is dark and deceptive. I cling to it.
I am alone and restless, I wander the
darkness all alone, so I talk to no one.
Across the fields, and farms I walk;
the darkness does not abstain. It pulls
me deeper into itself. I hide my fear of shame.
Am I not a man, say I? Cannot I face
my foe. But how can one face the darkness,
when he is all alone.

This one is mysterious.... the darkness could be a metaphor for something, such as the unknown? Or maybe it's the darkness that surrounds us when we feel alone.
ReplyDelete"Alone..." Thanks
ReplyDeleteThe darkness can be very scary.....but the fear of the unknown is even more scary.
