I look into the mirror, what is it that I see?
Only a reflection of the man; that is me.
I cannot see this inner man, mind, spirit,
soul. But this is where the real man lives;
the man that is my whole.
I cannot seek or find this man. The real
man that is me, He eludes me in the mirror,
therefore I cannot see.
Only a reflection of the man; that is me.
I cannot see this inner man, mind, spirit,
soul. But this is where the real man lives;
the man that is my whole.
I cannot seek or find this man. The real
man that is me, He eludes me in the mirror,
therefore I cannot see.
Our thoughts and emotions are sometimes well-hidden beneath the surface.. I love this contemplative poem.

DeleteIt is very true...we so easily forget what we really look like as soon as we look away from our reflection. But as you so eloquently expressed your thoughts, the inner man we never really know at all.
