It erupts forth from crevices deep; Pain.
In the body or mind, awake or asleep; Pain.
You meet it, are introduced and from that
point on, it is forever your friend; Pain.
Whether at home or abroad, it travels with
you; Pain. Like a solemn pledge of fidelity
lost but regained; Pain.
It is your worst enemy, but your best friend;
Pain. A jilted lover, you wish you could

No one understand why you hold it so tight;
Pain. So dependent upon it, you have grown

Over weeks, months and years, it has grown
so dear; to lose it now, would bring such fear;

I can feel the PAIN......so intense......I know sometimes it seems to be woven into the fabric of your being. But it must be something everyone needs to make them complete.
